Foundations

Building foundations are one of the most important parts of any construction project. They serve two primary functions:

To distribute the weight of the building evenly over the underlying soil, so that it does not collapse.

To provide a firm footing for the building, so that it is not susceptible to movement or damage from wind, rain, or other forces.
